Mas Sauvaire

Vin de Pays d'Oc Red 2005
Soil : Clay and limestone in deep, cobbly land
Grape varieties : Grenache 65 %
Carignan 20 %
Syrah 10 %
Cabernet 5%
Alcohol by vol : 12.5 °
Method : Produced with traditional methods - no masking, 20 days of maceration and the wine is drawn and circulated daily.
Production : 60 hectoliters per hectare.
The oenologist said : Dark with burlat cherry tints.
Complex with notes of ripe cherry, black currant and fresh licorice.
Firm tannins which give a lovely hold and great length.beautiful steady colour with cherry tint.

Mas Sauvaire

Vin de Pays d'Oc Rosé 2007 (Disponible mars 2008)
Soil : Clay and limestone in deep, cobbly land
Grape varieties: Syrah 50 %
Cinsault 35 %
Grenache 15 %
Alcohol by vol : 12.5 °
Method : Pressing for the cinsault, bleeding for the syrah with temperature control.
Production : 60 hectoliters per hectare.
The oenologist said : An attractive pale pink colour.
Delicate fresh aromas of strawberry sweets.
Well rounded and flattering with a nice fruity edge.

Vin de Pays d'Oc White 2006
Soil : Clay and limestone in deep, cobbly land.
Grap varieties : Vermentino 95 %
Grenache 5 %
Alcohol by vol : 12.5 °
Method : Pressing and temperature control.
Production : 60 hectoliters per hectare.
The oenologist said : A sparkling pale yellow colour.
An intense, fruity nose (citrus zest) and hints of aniseed.
A clean full attack on the palate. Well balanced with refreshing acidity.

Method : Produced with traditional methods - no masking, 25 days of maceration and the wine is drawn and circulated daily
Production : 40 hectoliters per hectare
The oenologist said : Beautiful deep red colour
The nose is intense and concentrated aromas with notes of juniper.
Tanic wine. Fruity liquor (blackcurrant, strawberry), essential oils of garrigue (myrtle, cistus).

The oenologist said : A dense coloured wine with tinges of cherry red.
Explosive aromas of camphor, eucalyptus, menthol and a slightly burnt edge.
An imposing wine with an extremely long finish.

Soil : Very poor soil on a limestone plateau formed by ice age rock
Grape varieties : Syrah 50 %
Grenache 50 %
Alcohol by vol : 13.5 °
Method : Pressing for the cinsault, bleeding for the syrah and grenache with temperature control
Production : 40 hectoliters per hectare
The oenologist said : A pretty bright coloured wine.
A complex intense nose combining red fruits jelly (red currant, raspberry, wild strawberry) and an elegant spicy note (rosemary, pepper …)
A velvety elegant attack, nicely balanced.

Grape varieties : Vermentino 80%
Grenache blanc 20 %
Alcohol by vol : 13.5 °
Method : Pressing and temperature control..
Production : 40 hectoliters per hectare
The oenologist said :

A lovely pale yellow colour.
A very pleasant nose combining ripe banana and orchard fruit syrup.
In the mouth this is a generous, smooth, ample and seductive wine.

Soil : Southern-facing, very stony soil on a limestone plateau formed by ice age rock movement.
Grap varieties : Syrah 90 %
Grenache 10 %
Alcohol by vol : 13.5 °
Method : Produced with traditional methods: no masking, 32-day maceration and circulated daily.
Production : Barely 30 hectoliters per hectare.
The oenologist said :

Beautiful, dense colour, blueberry colour
Complex and powerful aromas, ripe red fruits, aromas of blackcurrant and ripe morello cherries.
Tight tannins, very delicate. Mouth of raspberry, dry fruits (prune, fig…)
