For a mom taking care of her child to be allowed a hobby is a gift of its own, and if you are one of them, you should be grateful. It’s not every day that moms get to have time for themselves and indulge in their hobby or passion.

Take me for example, my name is Maria, and I’m a mother of two adorable boys who have a hobby of playing at an online casino through my iPad mini 5. I’m grateful that I learned how to multitask so I can take care of my kids while they read their children board books while also playing online roulette, and that’s why you should learn how to multitask too! Here are my top tips for you to take care of your kids while playing at an online casino:

Learn to Multitask

There’s a saying made by a slave of the 1st century BC by the name of Publilius Syrus, who was a Syrian that was made a slave by the Romans. He said and I quote, “To do two things at once is to do neither.” And I disagree with that statement completely! Multitasking can be lifesaving for moms that wanted to have time to de-stress themselves, and it’s not like we are doing two things simultaneously. We are focusing on one task for a short time then switching our attention to another swiftly, so both tasks get progressed! That means you are saving valuable time by doing putting mileage into both tasks!

Know When to Keep Your Balls in the Air

Multitasking Mom

It’s like the old idiom of a juggler trying to keep his balls in the air while also catching some balls at the same time. Knowing when to keep your balls in the air can work greatly in your favor as a mom who wants to play at an online casino but has mommy duties to fulfill. A mother’s work is never done, and people often say that mothers are working for the capacity of twenty, and I appreciate that sentiment wholeheartedly. The best tip that I can give you is you need to know when is the right time to switch from doing your hobby and taking care of your child.

To give you an idea, when my kids are doing their homework, I would leave them out of my sight for a bit to play online roulette, and when it’s not my turn to spin the ball, I will help my kids when they ask my help for a question that they don’t understand. This is very crucial in making multitasking work!

Set a Schedule

Another helpful tip that I can give is you need to establish a working schedule and stick to them. Since you already know when to switch between tasks, you can channel your undivided attention on one task for that period before it’s time to switch. This can help you get your task quality work, and while it’s not perfect, we compromise by saving valuable time!

Being a mom means that multitasking is ingrained in our cells, and at some point in our lives, we should learn the skill to help us from burning out. Remember to compromise when you can and prioritize your child’s needs before anything else!
